Restorative Yoga

We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to relax and rest deeply and completely.

Join us for 90 minutes of absolute BLISS. This Restorative yoga session includes a thai head massage, aromatherapy and reiki.


During deep relaxation, all the organ systems of the body are benefited, and a few of the measurable results of deep relaxation are the reduction of blood pressure and blood sugar levels, the increase of the “good cholesterol” levels, as well as improvement in digestion, the reduction of muscle tension, insomnia and generalized fatigue thus relieving the effects of chronic stress.

Each restorative sequence is gently moves the body in all directions. Because we stand or sit most of the day, blood and lymph fluid accumulate in the lower extremities. Restorative yoga restores the natural flow. This can be as simple as putting the legs on a bolster or pillow, but the effects are quite dramatic. By changing the relationship of the legs to gravity, fluids are returned to the upper body and heart function is enhanced.
